I get an untenable amount of spam. So, my contact form is on one of my other websites. To contact me by email, please use search the web for ‘yeseo SEO agency’ and use the contact form you find on the Yeseo SEO Agency website.
Why so many words on a contact page that doesn’t even have contact details on it?
My day job is running an SEO Agency in Ipswich, Suffolk, and many of the SEO tools we use recommend writing at least a few hundred words on a contact page.
The logic behind this is that for Google to find any page interesting. Any webs page or post should have enough words on it that the consumer will find it useful. This is good logic if you are trying to get a page to rank that is selling a product or service that you offer. But the basic fact is the contact pages don’t tend to rank well on Google unless people are searching for contact details of the entity that owns the website.
The other interesting thing here about why we don’t have a lot of words on Contact pages is that a company or personal website is not the only place that you can find contact details.
Obviously the days of looking for people’s contact details in the phonebook or the yellow pages are long gone, but any company or individual that wants their contact details to be found will already have spread around multiple places.
As mentioned further up on this page I don’t want my contact details to be on this website, but I still need to have a contact page to show Google that I am a genuine person and not somebody who is up to no good with regards to trying to rank this website in Google search results via naff SEO means.
Because this website is something of a playground for me and and the chance to experiment with various web techniques and SEO theories, I decided to use the dictation function on my iPhone to write as many words as SEO software recommends you should write for a page.
I apologise if you have read this page this far and realised there is no punchline or obvious reason for there to be as many words on this page. I’m afraid you have just fallen into a situation where you are part of a game whereby I am trying to get a 100% perfect score on a bit of SEO software I use to analyse this website.
Please accceot my apologies; please feel free to look at the other pages on this site or never come back. If you do want to contact me, then just use Google. You’ll be able to find my details without any trouble.
