I live about 8km away from work and cycling is the fastest way to get there. If I were to drive to work, I would get stopped by a great many traffic lights (I only encounter 4 when I cycle to work) and would have to walk from the car park to work (I can put the bike in the basement at work). Taking public transport would mean having to walk about 10minutes from my home to the bus stop and 10 minutes when I get off near work. One thing I noticed is that I’m not nearly as awake at work if I go there by bus if the weather is too bad.
