veloballs header

Veloballs was started in 2014 because we have a deep passion for cycling and an obsession with bike equipment. We want to share our love of cycling with others and help them find the best gear to ride.

Veloballs is a cycling website that provides information and entertainment for people who love cycling. The site offers bike reviews and advice to help people choose the best equipment for their needs, whether they’re beginners or experienced cyclists.

Reviews matter. This is especially true when it comes to the bike gear. Good cycling equipment will make your cycling experience much more enjoyable. But with so many different types and brands of bike stuff on the market, it can be difficult to know which one is right for you. That’s where Veloballs comes in. We offer detailed information on the latest bikes and cycling equipment so you can make an informed purchase. We want you to have the best possible cycling experience, and that starts with choosing the right gear.

If we don’t own, or can’t experience the bikes we’re writing about, we’ll give you as much data as we can find; we know what sort of information cyclists are looking for when doing research.

This doesn’t affect the price you pay, but does help us fund the website. We will never write a good review because we have been directly paid to do so, but we might make some money if you purchase something after clicking a link on one of our articles.

Black Friday 2016 – get the best bike bargains!

November 25, 2016

We all like to grumble a bit about Black Friday deals.  Perhaps it’s the footage of rioters coshing each other with electrical goods in discount superstores.  Perhaps it’s the commercialisation of the world that gets us down.  However you feel about Black Friday deals the truth is that the cycling retailers we all know and…

Passo del Mortirolo would have been large in the minds of the remaining riders as another day of mixed weather got the final week of the 2015 Giro d’Italia off to an intimidating start. Week Two didn’t look very dramatic in advance.
