The curious case of Lady Norfolk, Lord Rust and the Secret Beer Club

We love it when a plan comes together.  We love it just a much when two great Suffolk companies come together.  A few days ago two Ipswich based companies; Beer & Co and Lady Norfolk & Lord Rust announced they were working together on a special event.

Beer & Co have a great reputation for hosting well organised beer festivals.  They specialise not only in offering interesting beers, but also provide great entertainment.  A lot of Beer & Co events run along a musical theme.  The Lady Norfolk & Lord Rust shop on Queens Street, in the centre of Ipswich, started two years ago as a pop-up shop, and quickly gained an enviable reputation as the go-to place for gifts and antiques that are as fascinating as they are (sometimes) bizarre.

As part of an ongoing program of development Beer & Co founder Greg Cooper recently started running events under the ‘Secret Beer Club’ banner.  These are events held in interesting locations, for people with an interest in beer, who are interested in unique experiences.  The next Secret Beer Club event will be held on Thursday 7th December 2017, at the Lady Norfolk & Lord Rust shop on Queens Street in Ipswich.

We sent one of our Andrew Culture along to the shop for a chat with Greg of Beer & Co and Andy (a.k.a. Lord Rust) to find out more.
