Summer Isle Films, a broadcasting and media production company based in Suffolk, UK, are celebrating their ten-year anniversary. As they continue to forge ahead in the industry, Founder, Tom Newman, looks back at their achievements and talks about the changes he has seen.
As a company expands its credibility and increases the portfolio of work and clients that come with its progress, it is often by re-visiting the moment of inception and the steps that followed which truly allows the full extent of what has been achieved, to be seen. With dedication and passion, Summer Isle Films has emerged from being a little-known start-up to a fully-fledged film production company working with some of the largest names in media broadcasting.
In January 2008, Tom Newman sat down with his accountant to begin the process of starting his own business. Over the following ten years his enthusiasm, knowledge and pain-staking care, has created a thriving atmosphere at Summer Isle Films.
There have been many changes and developments within the industry over the years and Tom has been keen to make sure that he invests carefully in the equipment needed to make sure Summer Isle Films is at the forefront of the market.
