Telefünken was born somewhere between the swirling metropolis of Ipswich and the dark pre-industrial wilds of Suffolk and got lost somewhere in between.

Their music speaks of modern frustrations, the joy of the big wild world and revels in the social commentary of the likes of Ray Davies and Bill Bryson after a few gins.
Formed by members of local hotheads The Ballistics, Zeeb, These Are End Times and Uncle Black, and Austrian chart toppers Freud. Telefunken are here to entertain, be loud and make you think. Possibly.
Telefünken appeal to fans of krautrock, The Fall, The Wedding Present, The Subhumans, Wire, Carter USM, the weirder side of Lou Reed (his left side) and deep fried Mars bars.
Telefünken are coming up slowly on the outside my friend.
Telefünken are dead
