BRITISH RAILWAYS PAST & PRESENT No 12: EAST ANGLIA – This book presents a detailed examination of the changing face of the railways in the region depicted in this map, which shows locations featured in the photographs or mentioned in the text. The pictures have been chosen to provide a balanced view, including railways which are still in use or being developed, together with scenes where the lines have been closed and either abandoned or redeveloped since the ‘past’ pictures were taken.
