Serial Number MN9160827

Manufactured in the Mexico in either 1999 or 2000 based on the serial number.

This Fender Telecaster is in great condition, just to be sure I had it looked over by a pro prior to listing it on Ebay. I figure you should treat people as you would wish to be treated, which means I had to be sure this guitar was in the best possible condition before I listed it here. This Telecaster was serviced by none other than Ian Crow at Amblin Man Studios he is a remarkable player and has been an electronics testing engineer for many years.

Here is the work that was carried out during Ian's sympathetic service;

Functional checks, secured loose vol and tone control knobs,fitted missing pick-up support springs, tightened loose bridge support screws, fitted new strings, setup action and intonation, functional checks, cleaned (3hrs).

Please contact me if you would like to see a copy of this invoice, the work was only completed yesterday (16/07/07). Although inonation has been perfected, I've found out that ofen in Ebay auctions this is a matter of opinion so while we think it's perfect we're making no garuntees. This guitar plays very nicely indeed, I have nothing to hide and so have tried to take photos of any nicks that this Tele has, although there aren't many! This gutiar will be shipped in an Epiphone mailing box within a thicker card mailing box, so there's no case included but it will be VERY well packed.

The photos below showcase the fantastic paint job that Fender stake their reputation on, the photos also show that there are very few nicks and scratches on this beautiful instrument.

I'm actually a bassist, which you can probably tell by the fact I've just invented a horrid sounding chord

The paint job on this guitar is great, whilst it's not a great photo I thought I'd include this image to show you, my camera struggled to focus on the guitar as it was too reflective

It doesn't come accross too well on this photo but the chrome is really clean

There is no damage around the strap button at all

There is a very small nick on the neck, I've adjusted this photo to try and highlight it, but in reality it's so small I'd be really surprised if you could tell it is there while you are playing

Thanks to the service mentioned above the knobs and selector operate as if brand new.

There is a slight nick near the socket, it's pretty minor though.

I will not ship guitars outside the UK, it's just too much of a pain in the bum!
I have described this guitar as accurately as possible, the plethora of photos is intended to fill any gaps in my description, however, you should still treat this auction as 'sold as seen'.
All guitars are non-returnable, there's nothing wrong with them (unless specified) but I can't take guitars back if you change your mind or decide you don't want it for some other reason
If you have a feedback rating below ten, or are a new ebayer then please contact me before bidding
I will not close auctions before the end date so don't bother asking
I prefer payment by PayPal or bank transfer, pay by cheque if you must, but you'll have to wait around twiddling your thumbs while it clears, I use postal banking so this can be anything up to two weeks!
If you live near Ipswich (Suffolk) then you are welcome to come and have a look at the guitar, but don't expect to take it away before the auction ends
If you live within 100 miles of me (see above!) I will deliver the guitar personally for £50
Check out my feedback, you'll see that most of it is from selling stuff. I only mention this because it's a lot harder to get good feedback when selling something than when buying it
I am a music nut, I have been playing in bands since the early days of puberty, guitars are more than nice lumps of wood to me, so I like to think they all go to good homes!
